The club welcomes junior athletes to join them for training on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. These sessions include training in both running (track and road) and field events with a view to compete in local and national track and field meetings, cross country events and road races.

The groups meet at:
- Tuesday at 6pm – 7pm for all junior athletes
- Thursday at 6pm – 7pm for new starters / non-competitive group
- Thursday at 7pm – 8pm for our competitive juniors
- Sunday at 10am endurance session (free!)
Each session comes at the bargain rate of just £2 (£3 for non-members)
The group meets the new state of the art track facilities at the Ron Jones stadium in Aberdare. Athletes are welcome from the age of 8 and train in U11, U13 , U15 and U17 groups. Each group is lead by qualified Welsh Athletics coaches.
